Customized Programs Standardized Programs Educational Philosophy Needs Assessment Our Clients Contact Us

Our management education programs are grounded in a four-part educational philosophy:

Collaboration
We believe that healthcare managers and professionals need management education that emphasizes collaboration. Our goal is to bring managers, physicians, and other professionals together for joint problem solving and learning. The result is not only greater knowledge, but enhanced collegiality.

Relevance
Our goal is to use curriculum materials that resonate with the client organization's issues. We aim to help participants make clear and quick application of our concepts and frameworks to their professional situations.

Interactive Learning
We strive for a learning process that engages participants rather than lectures to them. We make extensive use of the case study method, and we expect participants to spend 2 or more hours preparing for each class session. We encourage participants to present their analyses and conclusions in the classroom, to assess and constructively criticize the analyses and conclusions of others, and, in general, to become fully involved in the discussion of the session's materials.

Continuous Improvement
We ask participants to evaluate our programs, and we constantly seek ways to improve their quality. During a multi-module program, we use the evaluations from each module as a guide to making changes in the subsequent one.
